36 Questions to fall in love – IV

It is time for answering another question of the 36-questions series published by the New York Times with the title: 36 Questions – How to fall in love.

If you are new to the blog and you want to start this series from the beginning, click here.

If you are looking for my answer of the third question, you will find it here.

The fourth question reads as follows:

What would constitute a “perfect” day for you?

My perfect day would start with waking up next to the woman I love. I would stay in bed for a while longer chatting, hugging and maybe more =). Then, I would do some exercises before taking a nice long shower. Afterwards, I would meditate for a while to have a mindful start into the day and to feel refreshed. This would be followed by a delicious breakfast with fruits, eggs, juices, tea, bacon, yoghurt, and some nuts.

Work will also be part of my perfect day. I would start my work day with being creative, working on things that are important and meaningful. Then, I would read a bit to learn something new. My work day would further be filled with interesting conversations and an overall feeling that what I do is contributing to a better world. I would laugh a lot and I would feel challenged. All that while working a trustful and supporting environment. Oh, and I would lead a team which I can then also challenge and support in their work and their personal development.

After work, I would come home to my girlfriend/wife and we would chat about our days while having a glass of wine or a cup of tea. We would take our time to connect. Afterwards, we would prepare dinner for which we invited friends. We would laugh and share food and ideas together and have funny and or meaningful conversations. Maybe we play a game together or just enjoy each other’s company. When we said goodbye to our friends we would relax a bit watching a movie or reading a book. I would also continue learning a language and write a blog entry.

The day would end almost like it has started. Lying in bed with the woman I love talking and again, enjoying each other’s company =)

What would constitute a perfect day for you? Let me know in the comments below, or write me a mail.

Have a wonderful day and take care =)

Stephan

  1. A good breakfast with regional and organic food would be the perfect start into my day accompanied with a good cappucino.
